Two of pop culture’s most iconic, offbeat, and fearless figures — Harley Quinn and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark — are teaming up for a hilariously spooky adventure. With a powerhouse creative team behind them, this six-issue miniseries promises a mashup that fans won’t want to miss.
The story kicks off with Harley Quinn feeling dangerously bored — which is never good news for the world around her. Meanwhile, Elvira finds herself battling for her TV show’s survival against corporate interference. When these two outrageous personalities collide, the result is pure chaos: an over-the-top Halloween party that no one asked for and no one will ever forget.
Fan-favorite duo Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti — the dynamic team who helped define Harley Quinn throughout the 2010s — return to pen her latest escapade. Their take helped shape the Harley we know and love across comics, TV, and beyond. Now, they’re bringing her back to her Brooklyn roots and reuniting her with familiar faces, while introducing her to Elvira for the first time.
“This is one of the most exciting crossovers I’ve ever done!” said Cassandra Peterson, the legendary star behind Elvira. “I’ve hosted and attended plenty of crazy parties, but this one takes the cake. Harley fans, Elvira fans — you’re all invited!”
Amanda Conner added, “Elvira was such a huge inspiration growing up. She had it all — humor, horror, beauty, and boobs! She showed all us weird girls that being different was powerful.”
Palmiotti chimed in: “Bringing Elvira into Harley’s world felt completely natural. It’s been a blast. Fans of our Harley stories will feel right at home — with plenty of new madness in store.”

Illustrating the crossover is the immensely talented Juan Samu, returning to Elvira’s world after his hit series Elvira Meets Vincent Price. Samu will bring the dynamic duo to life on the page, with Amanda Conner also jumping in to draw select interior pages — a rare treat for fans.
Conner is pulling triple duty on this event, co-writing, contributing interior art, and delivering not one but two covers for each issue. She’ll be joined by an all-star lineup of cover artists including Joseph Michael Linsner, Ben Caldwell, and the red-hot Mark Spears, creator of Mark Spears’ Monsters. Longtime Harley Quinn artist Chad Hardin also returns with covers of his own.
Harley Quinn X Elvira is shaping up to be an unmissable event — spooky, outrageous, and full of heart. Get ready for the weirdest party of the year when issue #1 hits shelves this August.
